If you grew up in Northern Oakland County during the 80s and had the sniffles, you made your way to 5885 S Main St. in Clarkston to visit Dr. O’Neill and his team. Your parents would park the Chevy Astro Van and walk inside the vestibule, where you had a choice, head left to the 'sick side' or turn right for the ‘well side’. Upon entering, you’d be greeted with the smell of wood paneled walls and the fish tank that separated the sick from the well.
Fast forward about 35 years (yikes!)…We were looking for a new home for our dermatology practice as we had outgrown our space (if you visited us at our old location, sorry again for that parking lot). We were excited by the chance to be in such a historic location on Main Street in Clarkston.
The exterior of the building has been updated recently and as much as we love the history of our space, we decided to do some updating with the help of Studio McGee . Our goal was to create a medical office that didn’t feel like a medical office and they were the perfect choice. You won’t find a sliding glass window that separates our team from you. Our aesthetic is casual, fresh and modern.
Proud to help bring this location back to life, we love helping the same families that drove Chevy Astro Vans here some 35 years ago. The building has a new vibe and the cars in the parking lot have changed but many of the faces remain the same. This is small town medicine at its finest on the best Main Street anywhere.
